With just two days remaining for the momentous consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the sacred dwelling of Lord Ram Lalla is abuzz with preparations for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, infusing the idol with divine consciousness. A video circulated on social media providing an exclusive glimpse inside the magnificent temple, showcasing illuminated footsteps, adorned pillars, and workers adorning the structure with vibrant flower garlands.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony is scheduled to commence at 12:30 pm on January 22, marking the culmination of a week-long series of rituals performed to sanctify the temple. Led by priest Lakshmikant Dixit, the main rituals will be performed, focusing on the 51-inch idol of Lord Ram Lalla within the sanctum sanctorum. Crafted from black stone by sculptor Arun Yogiraj of Mysuru, the idol was revealed recently, displaying the deity's countenance along with a golden bow and arrow.
The grand event will witness the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Prime Minister Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with 8,000 guests, such as Mukesh Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan, and Sachin Tendulkar. Several states have declared a half-day or holiday on January 22 in government offices, boards, and corporations in honor of this historic occasion.
